Key Verse: Colossians 3:13 – Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.  Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

 

1. Isaiah 59:2 shows how sin separates us from God’s favor. How might unforgiveness be affecting your relationship with God?

2.  Which of the five steps to forgive feels most difficult for you personally? 1) Realize that forgiveness is an act of will, not emotion, 2) Ask God to show you how He sees the offender, 3) Forgive quickly, 4) Forgive unconditionally, 5) Work at becoming offense-proof. Why and how can you begin to grow in this area?
