Life Group Questions:  The Gibeon Deception

1.What is an area of your life in which the enemy has been deceiving you? What step will you take to Stand Firm against this? 

 

2.Joshua’s mistake was not asking God before deciding- how can you build a habit of seeking God first in your daily choices, relationships, or major life choices? 

 

3.The enemy deceived Israel through something that looked right but wasn’t. What are some “good looking” distractions or compromises in your life that could be pulling you away from God’s best? 

 

4.Sunday’s message taught us Four Ways to Stand Firm Against the Enemy’s Deception: The Word of God, Prayer, Do Not Lean on Your Own Understanding and Gird up the Loins of Your Mind. Which one do you currently struggle with? What will you do to Stand Firm?
